Update re Covid 19: As a physician that has worked the front lines through SARS and H1N1, i made the very difficult decision to temporarily close our clinic march 18 2020. I have worked in the hospital through the other pandemics and know how serious this is. Dr Bonnie Henry who is is charge of public health in B.C., informed all businesses for the safety of their staff and customers to close businesses unless you can be one meter away. Despite being prepared for this since J...anuary and having the proper cleaning, masks and ventilation, trying to simulate an operating room, i felt it was essential to listen to instructions of Dr Bonnie Henry to flatten the curve and save lives of those that are most vulnerable. My lovely patient has allowed us to share her testimonial regarding her Diva experience: I came to Dr Finding with vaginal atrophy and stress incontinence. I had been advised by another clinic that my symptoms would not improve with treatment.After researching the Diva approved by Health Canada for treatment of my symptoms and with the support of Dr Finding i decided to have the procedure.During the procedure Dr Finding and the Nurses at Beauty 2.O were very professional and ...supportive.They explained all aspects of the procedure and were very thorough with protocols including screening and conducting the appropriate tests before the treatment. Great care and attention was given to my comfort and safety during the procedure and follow up post treatment was monitored and followed carefully.The recovery was short and with minimal discomfort.My treatment was late in the afternoon and the next day i was back at work and resumed exercising 48 hours post procedure. After the first treatment i noticed an improvement in both the stress incontinence and atrophy. The second treatment resulted in further improvement both stress incontinence and atrophy.Prior to the treatments the vaginal atrophy was always noticeable to me and i was often uncomfortable sitting. Two weeks after my second treatment i started a conditioning program that involves running between strength and endurance exercise.Before the treatments i would not have been comfortable doing these activities due to stress incontinence.
