How do we see God's hand in life? "Seeing the lush forest in the night, under the gaze of the stars. The silence of sitting alone in the forest at the edge of a river, creek, or lake. The magnificence of the dusk and dawn on the horizon of a flat prairie. I've often sat in the silence of the nature of the world, and marveled at the intricacy and extreme detail of it all. Today we are feeling extra grateful for technology!! It allows us to share posts like this one to so many of you so fast! It also allows us to video call, phone call, and online message during these unique times where it is honestly required. Technology is truly a miracle and we should be grateful to God everyday that we have it! What are some ways God has blessed you through technology during this pandemic?

Though you may feel alone and unsupported at times, you can be certain that God knows you and loves you. He wants to support you in every stage of life, good or bad. He simply asks you to turn to Him. What will you do to turn to God today?

[John 8:12] Life seems cloudy and foggy sometimes but Jesus Christ is the light of the world and as we serve others for Him, we will find our way. Similar to climbing a mountain, living the gospel requires patience and effort as we diligently take each step. The steps of the gospel are faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, being baptized by proper priesthood authority, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands, and enduring to the end. Although these steps take effort they are well worth it. Lucky for us, along the way we have others who can help us carry the load of life! These people may include fri...ends and family, but the One who can carry it all is Jesus Christ. With His help, as we continue on our gospel journey and move upwards, our perspective changes. Every progressing step gets us one bit closer to our ultimate goal. Each small step is appreciated because of the direction it was placed. One step in front of the other until we reach our goal. We then can look out with a broader and clearer understanding and perspective! Hey, I'm Elder Shaw, and I want to share one of my favorite scriptures. It's Alma 36:3 from the Book of Mormon. When I was younger, someone shared it with me and it has been my favorite ever since. "... for I do know that whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, and their troubles, and their afflictions, and shall be lifted up at the last day." We all go through different trials and struggles, they all differ and are unique to us and sometime...s we can feel that no one could ever understand what we are going through. This scripture reminds me that God knows and understands how we feel as we go through tough experiences in life, and that as we turn to Him, comfort and blessings will follow. How does God support you in your trials?

When life weighs you down there's always a way to unload your burdens. The Savior is always there willing to lift us and help us with anything we are going through. How does the Savior lift you?

Life and the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be like running. What are some things in life that help you finish the race?

Recieving the gift of the Holy Ghost is such an important part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The Holy Ghost will teach us and help guide us back to our Heavenly Father. It will also help us remember things that we have already been taught. "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." - John 14:26... What has the Holy Ghost taught you?

Everyone has bad days sometimes. When we focus on Christ we can be filled with hope and knowledge that we are loved. How has focusing on Jesus Christ helped you?

These hands know what you are going through. These hands have been through what you are experiencing. These hands are always reaching out for you. Jesus loves you! How can you reach up and take His hand?

Sometimes we may think that it's the things we have in life that makes us happy. But really it is the focus of our lives that will bring us joy, if we are focused on the right one. What things do you focus on to bring the spirit of joy into your life?

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philippians 4:13) Comment below on the things you've been able to do through Christ's power!

Although times may become difficult or sad during this pandemic, it is important to remember that we can have joy no matter our circumstances! One of the best ways is through the gospel of Jesus Christ! How do you find joy in tough times?

How has Christ given you direction in your life?

Before running a race, there are things we have to do. We need to prepare and practice for it! Practicing can be hard and sometimes we may feel like we want to quit. As we keep pressing forward, we keep preparing ourselves for the race ahead. Eventually the race day will come. If we put the practice in, we will be able to finish and experience the joy that comes from that and look forward to the next race! Life is just like running. We need to prepare and practice for the rac...es or trials ahead. A way we can prepare and practice, is learning the Gospel of Jesus Christ and trying our best to #HearHim. As we focus on Jesus Christ, we will be able to overcome those trials in our life and experience much joy. There will be many races in life, and with Jesus Christ, we can finish all of them. How has Jesus Christ helped you with a race in your life?

Life is Hard. God knows this and provided a way to over come our hardships through His Son Jesus Christ. Comment below how He has helped you overcome your trials.
