CONGRATULATIONS ANN! You did 50km! Ann is one of the most talented women I’ve ever known. We did my first professional musical together. She is an incredible mezzo soprano singer who bends and weaves through tight harmonies making divine music with her equally talented sisters who are The Mantini Sisters. In 1999, we had both suffered losses of family members that year. She lost her brother and I lost my mom. It was her brothers’ wish who died of cancer for Ann to start a c...ancer support centre in the Niagara region - Wellspring Niagara. And so, Ann devoted the next year to bringing incredible people together to open their first facility. Almost immediately they were at capacity with cancer patients needing their services of love and support. 20 years later they opened their own magnificent, warm and inviting facility on a beautiful property to help 100’s and 100’s more cancer patients and their caregivers feel supported. From a promise to her sibling to growing this incredible place full of love and light - you did it! She was one of the first 80 people I interviewed to write my 4th book, FINDING THE LIGHT. The article is attached and as you see - her power word was Self Care. Ann - You have taught me so much about the healing power of giving back. #leaderscreateleader See more

Hooray!!!! Congratulations Hogie. You crushed your 50km challenge! David Hogan has been an athlete his whole life. Normally he is running as the Co-Artistic Director of an incredible theatre, The VPP that inspires the actors and musicians he hires and the thousands upon thousands of audience members he personally welcomes with open arms every day. But with the time you had this last year, you got on the treadmill clocking in well over 150km!!! Congrats and we’re grateful you made the time to inspire yourself this year as well. CONGRATS Sheila You did it!!! Another Vancouver goal crusher! Thank you! Here is her note to us!! So I don’t know how to thank you for asking me to join @Findingthelight.ca It has made a profound difference since January 4 when I started. I could only walk 5-10 minutes at a time when I started, yet I knew I could Do one km a day. ... And wouldn’t you know it...The competitor awoke in me. In January I DID 52 kms. My goal then changed to 150 km by March 15. I have increased to 3-4 km a day. I am feeling better than I have in a long time. We need to move for so many reasons. Thank you for providing me with one that is propelling me into my future. Xoxox. Friend we are so proud of you! You are always a part of our community now. #50kmyourway #-#50km_running_challenge #walkingforhealth #150kmchallenge See more
