Our week was full of SHSM sessions with the @torontodsb and @dpcdsb.schools. We covered the Construction sector and the Non-profit sector on Tuesday, Information & Communications Technology on Wednesday, today we are talking about motivation and leadership, and then we are closing out the week with Arts & Culture.

If your grade 11s are working towards obtaining the SHSM seal (on their Ontario Secondary School Diploma), and considering a career that is heavily focussed in the customer service arena, here is a list of the Top 6 Careers in Customer Service, as provided by Randstad Canada along with salary data provided from both Randstad and Indeed Canada.

Today we join Ms. Melanie Bast, along with ICT and Hospitality & Tourism students, @leacock_tdsb (@tdsb ) to provide a virtual support session. We're reviewing and discussing our Customer Service online certification with special emphasis on careers with an intensive customer service focus. Later this week, we will be sharing specific data that relates to careers in the customer service industry, and entry-level salary expectations for 2021 in Ontario, Canada.

5 SHSM Sessions on Deck this Week & We Wish a Warm WELCOME to teachers and students of the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board !! First up we have Ms. Cozzolino Giorlando's students from #F.J.BrennanCatholicHighSchool with their first session. Ingrid Brand, speaks to students about the non-profit sector and finding the right volunteers for specific needs and roles. Brad Barrett from Power Bus Way Ltd. joins teacher, John Wang from Western Technical-Commercial School ...to chat with engineering and manufacturing students. Both Ryan Brooks (from @ctrlvcanada) & Sarah Rose separately join Ms. Connie Yung's ICT students from SATEC @ W. A. Porter Collegiate Institute. Health & Wellness students of Mr. Michael Fortier of L'Amoreaux Collegiate Institute are learning about nutrition with Dexterity Fitness.
