Hey All. I picked up a few of these shorty box handles by @tapepro I now see what all the hype was about. These things are beyond awesome. Very comfortable to hold, easy to articulate the box with it, no long pole to bang around and beyond well built. Having said that I have more than I need so I figure why not give a couple away. Well I bit the bullet and joined the club. Thanks for the final push over the edge @ontariostippleremoval and @capodrywall for all the info. Went with the Graco Mark IV for a few reasons the main one being its 40 lbs light and with one man crews on in and out jobs thats key. Ill post a vid of how it performs next week. Im super pumped to get this new system going

Final wet sand on this cornice install. They are so finely finished we are having trouble finding the joints. One of the better problems to have I guess

Another pet peeve. Sucking air when the mud gets low In the pail. Solution: Lid buddy. I find 2 rolls of tape on top when its really low, works to keep the pressure up and mud on the tape. Any thoughts/improvements for final design?

Just a follow up on my last post. Finished the MAG PAIL prototype. Used it for the first time today. So far so awesome!! Any improvement ideas are welcome. I will have 3 to ship out for testing. Tag someone that could use it.

16 Kitchen cornice and crown. Theses were a bitch to cut. Couldnt nest the moulding due to its size but the extra effort as well worth the result.

This was a huge curb appeal upgrade for our client: e.i.f.s exterior stucco application to replace an outdated Tudor style facade. See some of the construction stages. @ Aurora, Ontario

Drywall repair takes several steps and patience for drying time....this is one small area ready now for finish sanding. @ Newmarket, Ontario

Really liking these finger lights. First use is a little awkward finding ideal positioning but after a few minutes it was second nature. Great little gadget to keep the area illuminated while keeping both hands free and operational. Could be a touch brighter but so far so good.

This is what it took to get us from paper tape to a Level 5 finished and primed product. The finished barrel ceiling with two exterior rounds is all hand coated . The yellow you see is the unprimed footprint area for the upcoming plaster mouldings. Hats off to Joe @capodrywall for your hard work and talent.

Final sanding of a wall plastered to Level 5 (We used the blue tint to highlight any imperfections to instantly correct them). What is a Lvl 5, you ask? After drywall is up, we prefill all joints, then paper tape and apply three top coats of plaster (aka mud). Stopping there would be level 4. To achieve Level 5, we also coat the surface once in its entirety.

Here is the finished barrel ceiling with 2 exterior rounds, All hand-coated and sanded to a level 5 finish. You can see at the top of the walls, a yellow color. This area is not primed so that we can easily install the plaster mouldings.

Blue tint for our level 5 plastering helped ensure uniformity. By using tint in the mud, any deficiencies are instantly accentuated, such as nicks or scars. We can quickly make adjustments and finish in good time with high quality. In case you were wondering, it did feel a bit *heavenly* up there.
