Finger on the Trigger Photography

OK, fine. A test shot with my recently constructed "beauty dish". A total DIY job, but I'm happy with the simple test results. I can work with this. Now I just need to get a shirt that isn't a white undershirt and figure out where the dust on my sweet hat came from

Holy crap, I just made a beauty dish out of a salad bowl (dollar store), a cover for a stack of CDs, a small ikea bowl covered with reflective tape, and some glue. Test shots reveal awesomeness. Too bad I can't post them because they're of me looking like a garden variety moron. Time to shoot some real shots!
