If you have personally experienced this, we can help you. Many of these services we provide. If they are not our specialty, we know people who do! BNI (Business Networkers International) is the organization we have been a part of for over 13 years. Really - the BEST businesses of the Durham Region all meet here.

I think we may have met this customer! Unfortunately, people do not realize that being a business owner has a lot of 'hidden costs' such as Liability Insurance, tools etc. We invest time to visit with a client, take measurements, invest time in creating a detailed proposal to hear later that the client was only price shopping. They do not realize the cost to the business - time away from family, fuel and time meeting client and administration time. There is NO FREE ESTIMATES. It cost someone - usually the business owner.

We were asked by a real estate agent to help paint 2 rooms. Sounds easy enough. 4 hours of prep work to sand down tape lines and use Drydex to ensure there would be no "Ghost Lines" from the previous stripe paint job. After sanding, all of the stripes were primed with CoverStain. Now we can proceed with painting the walls...... All in a day's work. The Men is White make it RIGHT!

If considering painting doors in an older home, always check if the existing paint is oil. (How to test if paint is oil or latex-based? Pour a bit of an acetone-based solvent like nail polish remover on a rag or paper towel and rub it on the surface. If nothing rubs off it's oil; if paint rubs off on your rag, it's latex). Previous person painted latex over oil paint. It peels off, and not everywhere. We have to remove all of it, prime with a conversion primer (Zinsser Low Odour Oil), and then finish with latex.

We assisted in painting the Courtice EMS station. Due to Covid, the EMS staff were required to be on-the-road all day while we painted their 'house'.
