The service advisor is the front-line representation of the service department and is responsible for providing consistently high levels of customer service and information to all service customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling service work in the Service Department and for selling recommended or ...required services to customers. They will act as the dealership's first-line customer relations and service representative. The Service Advisor is responsible for gathering and interpreting information on vehicle condition in order to advise the customer and communicate this information in a professional manner. Core competencies: Customer focused Excellent organizational skills and superior communication skills Computer skills required but training will be provided on automotive specific programs Must work independently and as part of a Team High energy and ability to work under high pressure conditions Required: Diploma or post-secondary education preferred Experience in a previous advisor position an asset Experience in customer service a must Valid driver's license Working Requirements Must be able to lift up 50lbs regularly Long hours of standing Use of computer and other peripherals Flexible schedule that includes working until 5pm and on some Saturdays.
