Yesterday we celebrated the king’s birthday.. Morethanconquerors The Mighty Finn turned 14. Kristen and Ryan and I sang happy birthday and watched him spend the day racing and playing! (Russ Gaudet guess who is missing a shoe this morning )

Blessed by the people and babies around me. Kristen & Ryan came early to help with feeding and turnout and Alyson avoided homework and groomed the herd!! Everyone playing!

6 years ago we bought an OTTB, a giant 16.3h chestnut beauty for our girls. He has become brother to Geronimo and his best friend, he posed in grad pictures, dressed as a sparkly unicorn and gave pony rides, and this majestic boy is by far the King of our farm. He symbolizes my heart’s desire - that every horse have a safe place to grow old. On that very first day I whispered in his ear, I got you big boy, Finn this is your Forever. Happy gotcha day to the man who made a dream reality, our majestic king, Finn.

Lally and all the ponies had such an awesome day! We had visitors and are so excited to meet great new people! Of course a visit from Kristen to end the day makes it perfect!!

This is Kanga, our Miss K, who is now owned by Kristen (this tiny pony is mother to our giant 2 year old Roo). Kristen is coached by Jade Allan and today they saw all red. Kristen is also our best helper. On numerous occasions this wee but mighty girl has mucked the whole barn solo! At feeding time you will find her picking out feet. And if you notice tails braided or horses glowing I promise she helped. Not only a rider but a true horse girl! Congrats Kristen and Miss K (and Jade for creating true horse people )
