The fire and ink created this aurora-filled sky, where a bear cub and its mother take in the wonder of the night. There is a hunger in all of us to explore- and following that curiosity leads us to beautiful and wild places. I called this piece ‘Wide Eyes Wonder’. Available at www.fireart.ca
Coffee and croissants... with art that warms my heart. The colours and swirls that the fire created in it brightens my day, I called this piece ‘Lost Whispers’. Available at www.fireart.ca
No longer in my life, but forever in my heart. My precious cat Pickles became sick with an aggressive form of bone cancer a month ago and passed away last week. I will always think of her in happy times, in all her catitude and glory. She liked to hog the spotlight wherever she was, and she gave the best little cat hugs you can imagine. I am grateful for the 8 wonderful years she had but I miss her terribly. #foreverlove
Find me where the wild things are. Natures wonders are endless and have always given back to me in ways that are hard to put into words. I am still blown away at how a natural element like fire created the incredible aurora-borealis background for this piece I called 'Lost Whispers'. Available at www.fireart.ca.
A pinch myself "where am I" moment. Day 19 of a 25 day canoe trip last summer. In the wilds of Northern Manitoba heading down the Seal River - we found THE perfect camp spot complete with sandy beach, fish landing on first casts, and very few bugs! To more days like this in 2021!
Drifting through early morning mists... Day 7 of my solo canoe trip last year, a magical place in my mind.
