A warm hello to the Firefighters Association of Ontario from across the country on Vancouver Island, I wanted to let you know about my petition to ask the Government of Canada to increase the volunteer firefighting tax credit from $3,000 to $10,000. https://petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Petition/Details... If you think it's a worthwhile cause, please consider signing and sharing the petition. Side note, I was born and grew up in Orillia, ON. I came out to BC to hit the slopes in Whislter, and I've been here ever since. I spent 5 years as a volunteer firefighter here in Parksville, BC. Thanks very much, Sean Wood 604 868 7914 Sean I create distinctive designs to help grow your business. Sean Wood Wood & Company | Parksville, B.C. September 11, 2020 will mark the 19th anniversary of one of the darkest days for the fire services around the world. Many of us watched it live on television, as our fellow brother & sister firefighters entered into the World Trade Center towers, never to be seen alive again. Everyday firefighters in Ontario, across Canada and around the world put their lives on the line to help those in need. Tomorrow we remember the 343 of the FDNY, but we also remember all those we have lost this past year.
