Fireweed is closed but Harmony and I will be taking plant orders for pick up at the farm in Brentwood Bay. We are taking orders now via email at [email protected]. Please place your order before Thursday April 2nd at the very latest. ... Prearranged pick up will be available on April 3-5 only. Please have a look at our Plant Availability List at fireweedschool.com/offerings. This list is from last Oct, but it should be still applicable. We will be able to update it when we do inventory the week before the plant sale. If you would like to order plants please email us a list of what you would like. We will get back to you next week to confirm, arrange for payment and a pick up time. We are practicing social distancing so unfortunately won't be setting up the farm shop or allowing customers to browse the nursery. It's just drive-in and pick-up prepaid orders and then drive-out. If you'd like to order seeds or herbal products for pick up, they have to be ordered through the Ravensong website at ravensongherbals.com BEFORE Saturday March 28th. We currently reside in the Comox Valley and will be traveling down Island with the pre-ordered products and will not have access to our stock to fill orders with once we get to the farm. Fireweed is in a bit of a limbo this season, and we are downsizing our offerings during this transition time. As many of you know, the property Fireweed resides on went up for sale last summer, causing quite a bit of instability for us as land-leasers. We won’t know the future of Fireweed until the property sells and we find out whether or not the new land-owners will provide us with a long term lease. In the meantime, we have had the good fortune to have purchased a property of our very own up Island! We have begun setting down permanent roots in the Comox Valley, where we are building a new medicinal herb farm called ‘Ravensong Medicine Garden’. Many magical things are on the horizon for us on this new property, and we are excited to be on a piece of land we can finally call our own. Because we will be stretching our time this growing season between developing the new Ravensong property in Black Creek, and maintaining Fireweed in Brentwood Bay, we are no longer able to offer regular open hours during this season. Instead we will be offering just three weekend-long plant sales in April, May and June. Our aim will be to sell all of our remaining nursery stock and then close the nursery for the remainder of the season.
