We are receiving reports of a phone scam where Albertans over 75 are told they can book their COVID-19 immunization for a fee. AHS will never ask for payment for COVID-19 immunization. Please hang up immediately and report to the non-emergency line for local law enforcement.
Today a little farming background.... Snowmobiles and Winter Wheat. I've watched a little bit of the comments on Facebook about Snowmobiles and driving on farm...land. Just a friendly reminder for Snowmobile owners. Here is the background on why driving on farmland can be costly: The Winter wheat lies dormant under the snow, however it continues to respire under the snow. What snowmobiles do is pack the snow around the plant, and, the snow turns into a block of dense ice. The plant can no longer breathe, basically choking it to death. It's why Farmers get a little angry on seeing Snowmobile tracks in their field. Hope that helps give you an idea of the issues it causes and keeps everyone informed. #Besafe #BeInformed #farmsafety

We’ve been robbed at the farm. Missing a ton of stuff, please keep your eyes open for a 2016 72 inch Kybota, 2013 Polaris RZR and a large toro snow blower. Will add other stuff once the cops do their thing.
So this morning I picked a new run of clay in preparation for our annual Work of Our Hands Christmas Showcase. Yup.... it is going to happen....but modified. It... will be 10 days instead of three. November 6-15th. There is a booking app on our website for you to use to pick a time to come. Maximum ten people in the studio at a time. You will have 40 minutes maximum to shop and then we will will cash you out and clean in preparation for the next group of shoppers. You will need to wear a mask to come in and upon entry we will have you wash with soap and water. This will enable you to handle all the beautiful work in the showcase. Our talented artisans are back to bring you their creative works. Please go to the website for a list of participants. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone (or at least your smiling eyes above your mask). Gonna be tough for me though, as I won’t be able to hug you. So remember to book a time so you are not disappointed. Walk in will be limited by the booked appointments. Strange times folks! But we got it figured! Thirty six days and counting. #wecandothis #workofourhands #christmasshowcase #potterybyheather #november6to15 #potterybyheather.com See more
