Yeah!!! I am open and taking bookings again. I’m am happy to report the flooding did NOT affect my office in the Bridgeport Inn. As for the CoVid 19 pandemic, I have and will to continue have, safety protocols in place to protect all of us. The other good news is that spouses may attend the Ultrasound session. Dads are very welcome in my office. All other guests can view remotely via a ZOOM CONFERENCING link. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We all have many reasons to be thankful....... I am especially grateful for the wonderful experience of sharing my Ultrasound expertise to show families their unborn babe. Each new life in the making is unique and very special, and I am so blessed to be a part of those joyous moments.

When people think about first having a baby, the most important thing to them is what is the nursery going to look like, do they have the right toys to spark their neurological development, etc. I've been guilty of that to a certain degree. Not too many of us consider the womb, which is the baby's first home. When it comes to neurological development and pre natal development as a whole, the most important place you want to start paying attention to and working on is when b...aby is in the womb. The placenta is NOT as strong of a barrier as we think it is. Many things can cross the placenta. In 2005, the Environmental Working Group did a study on the cord blood of newborn babies and they found out that over 280 toxic chemicals found in the cord blood of newborn babies. So, moms we think we are protecting our babies from the toxins we are exposed to, but that is clearly NOT true. Whatever toxins we are exposed to whether it be plastics, hair products, skin care, beauty products, pesticides, herbicides, etc. All of these toxins affect our babies and their pre natal development. Children can also be affected by what they don't get. * Lack of Vitamin D studies show maternal lack of Vitamin D increases the risk of Autism * Lack of Selenium is linked to depression * High sugar diets lead to inflammation and high levels of inflammation lead to numerous neurological disorders. So, when mom has a high sugar diet and lacking some of the key nutrients, that will impact babies for LIFE!
