Recent outbreaks and clusters that have occurred in some communities serve as a reminder to all of us of the ongoing risks to our communities as a result of such gatherings.

Indigenous leaders and community members held a peaceful protest today at Victoria's Royal Jubilee Hospital in support of an Indigenous man from T'Sou-ke Nation whose experience in accessing care has resulted in inadequate care and alleged racism.

Premier John Horgan said [May 13]. "I don't want people's belief that on the 19th of May, all of a sudden we're back to normal," he said. "We are not going to be back to normal. We're going to start the process to bring back industries that were ordered shut by [provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie] Henry, and she'll be revising her orders at the appropriate time."
