Tough bite in the morning because of the may flies all over the lake but we managed to pull a few out of the water. When the walleye did turn on it was a heck of a time getting those under 18 inches.

Spent the last two days fishing lake superior for salmon and lake trout. Fishing is pretty slow for me anyways. Did manage to catch two salmon!

Beautiful morning. Fishing was awesome. First time out. Unfortunately the Northern Pirate is down due to engine troubles but parts are in, so used the 14 footer for the day and it ran great.

Well it's been a couple of weeks since the walleye opener and I have either been working or out hunting. Today is not a bad day for weather wise but it's still cool out. I decided to get the pirate ready anyways and hopefully get out in a day or two. Hopefully the corona virus will pass soon and the borders will open and I would really like to see old friends and make new ones! Stay safe everyone!!
