"I can still picture him, I can still smell him. But now, I'm not gonna have another dad" In this video, The Survivors, we listen to family members & friends of those lost to the sea share their stories - a chilling reminder to be safe at sea. For those heading out this coming lobster season, remember to wear your PFD. Because what you're catching is not the most important thing, it's who's waiting for you to come home.

A great safety message from Capt. Kasey DeMings. Before the start of every lobster season, he walks his crew through a detailed safety checklist. Effective yesterday at 4:30PM our offices have closed for the next 2 weeks / 14 days. As our office is located in the HRM, and all staff resides in different parts of the Municipality we felt it was best for us to switch to working from home to help #StopTheSpread of COVID-19. We are still business as usual and are available for phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and training course registration. We will re-evaluate our office closure in 2 weeks.
