And so it begins! Welcome to the beginning of the 2019 season this beauty Hali was caught drift bouncing on the amphitrite bank at 150 ft on a lighthouse led squid jig.

2days of offshore halibut fishing with flat calm conditions was a success. Tapped out both days with2 at a max 115 cm. What a great start to the season!!

A few highlights with friends from last year

While i could not take customers out due to health and insurance reasons I did get to take out some friends and have some fun it was a good fish murder season lots of halibut( now closed till next yr) but still salmon around until they run the rivers! Thank you to my friends who made time to come and see me and spend time with me on the boat!

Sorry everyone had to cut this trip short due to more complications I'm hoping to be backin the boat for August as the season continues. So far halibut fishing this year is great while salmon fishing is a little scroungy most fish have been found 25miles out at the big bank. I hope to be back out there soon I will keep you posted!

So my friend Bj from Nanaimo Chrysler wanted to come fishing it was a little lumpy but we tapped out on springs and landed this monster 132.5 cm Hali what a spectacular way to spend a day with a friend thanks for the fun and company with your father in law as well. Oh ya and the biggest fish you ever caught!!!

My apologies to my friends and followers of fishmurderinc but in may I was on track for a great season when I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. So while I will be fishing and posting I have to pick and choose my days so thankyou for all your support and keep the lines tight!!

Dear friends and clients We were ready to go for an exciting and productive fishing season, but unforeseeable circumstances have shut the season down for us. Sadly, Captain Paul has been hit with serious health troubles. Please stay tuned as we look toward next season.

So this year we have added a few new things on the boat! 1st a heater to take the chill off in the morning or when fishing. 2nd a troll master digital speed control for the kicker motor to fine tune trolling speeds 3rd an auto pilot to steer the boat while we concentrate on the fishing!... Look forward to seeing you this coming fishing season!!

2016 was a good year for halibut looking forward to a great 2017. Hoping to start mid April hope to see everyone there this coming season!!
