Fitness 360 For Women 25.01.2021

Do you give up too easily? Being in the fitness industry for the past 20 years, I see all too often women giving up on their fitness journey because they haven't seen results fast enough I want to tell you something....... Results happen over time Nothing happens over night... we need to patient. This is so hard for a lot of people and we have expectations we put on ourselves that make it so much worse! You didn't learn to walk the very first time you took a step! You had to fall down and get back up many many times before you could walk across the room Seeing results, whether weight loss, or muscle gains is much the same. You need to put in the work, and OVER TIME the results will come. You may have a set back and that's ok. We all have them, the difference between those that do succeed is that they DON'T GIVE UP. If you are bummed because the gyms are closed, I hear you. It sucks! But... there are other options to get you through this time that won't set you back as far as if you STOP all together. Join our online classes or enroll in a virtual pt session! The opportunities are there, you just need to be ready and willing to accept the change and accept that the results will come with time. Yes, we are in RED ZONE here in Waterloo Region but like I've said 100x over the past 8 months we are lucky to be a small gym! Sure, the number of people inside affects us BUT we can still operate and function like we always do. We have made the necessary changes but like always, we are a strong community of women who are sticking by eachother and respecting the new guidelines so we can move our bodies and keep them healthy all year long!... Tomorrow we move into the RED Zone and although it changes some things, we are fortunate to be small and it won't affect us too too much. That being said, the RED Zone will illicit some fears about being in the gym. I can assure you we are cleaner than most public places with 50-100 people at one time (think Costco) AND We rarely have more than 10 in the gym at one time anyway!! Bonus for being small We as a community stuck together in March when we had to unexpectedly c...lose down. The transition to online was something I had never done but went for it and it has been a huge success!! We continue to offer this now and anyone is able to switch their membership over if they feel more comfortable. I encourage you to keep up your fitness, you have come so far and I am doing everything I can to keep us going so we don't fall behind. We need to keep healthy right now and moving your body plays a key role in this. We do offer online personal training with Kailee or myself so we can work with you one on one to keep your fitness level up and even help you improve Our spa is still operational so don't forget your Toes!! Even though they are covered up in shoes, they still need some TLC Thank you for everyone who has supported Fitness 360 presently and in the past. CTV was at the gym interviewing me on what things will look like for us if our region ends up in the Red. Although I don’t know all the restrictions as of yet my hope is to keep things as similar to how we are operating now with very few changes. I am extremely appreciative of all of your support over the past 8 months and your continued support as we head into yet more unchartered territory. ... With being a small gym we aren’t as impacted as the larger chains and I am thankful for that. Our numbers are low and we rarely exceed 10 in the gym space at one time. With our online streaming we are able to control numbers even more! And we have a great balance happening! The future is unknown but I know I want to be here when this pandemic is over to provide a safe, encouraging and healthy environment for all of you. Gyms and restaurants are on the chopping block and I’m asking/begging you to keep following the rules and not gather in large groups so we small businesses can stay open to survive. Too many have closed and it breaks my heart every time I hear it as it could end up being me one day

Beginners complicate. Experts simplify. It’s so easy to over complicate fitness and nutrition but unless you’re training for some competitive event, simple is almost always better. Get into the gym and focus on the main movements: squat, deadlift, upper body press, and upper body pull.... Then make sure you move as much as possible. Walk instead of driving, take the stairs, that kind of stuff. Finally, don’t think that you have to follow a restrictive and overcomplicated diet to get results. Dogmatic approaches are hard to sustain anyway. Focus on lots of veggies and lean protein and limit but don't avoid carbs.
