This is my workout studio lately. Getting in lots of showshoeing. Hope you are too. If you want to up your workout here's a few tips: 1) Use 2 walking poles - it will help you to engage the upper body muscles, take pressure off your back and knees and help engage your core muscles. 2) Stop along your route for 'trail squats', 'trail lunges' and tree push-ups. 3) Don't forget to stretch well when you are done

A good workout doesn't always mean tradition exercises and workout gear. I just spent the morning raking and bagging leaves....it was a workout and great fresh air!!!
