It is not always easy to find rest. This elevated chest pose is one of my favourites. It invites me to drop in and find ease in stillness. I am learning how much stress my body is holding. My hope is to find gradual healing physically, mentally, and spiritually. Thank you to my teacher @andreamariepeloso for creating and holding space for us in our training. #restorativeyoga #renewal #restoration #healing

We must pick a direction, which one will we choose? - Simon Sinek, The Infinite Game With an infinite mindset, we can inspire others to enjoy the journey of the path to fulfillment. Life is not transactional, it is infinite - the influence and inspiration we extend lives on beyond our lifetime. Propping for a fully supported Elevated Chest Pose. Simply one of my favourite ways to start a restorative practice. @andreapeloso One of the benefits of a restorative practice is the balancing of the two aspects of energy. Our bodies are permeated with energy. Prana resides above the diaphragm and moves upwards, controlling respiration and heart rate. Apana resides below the diaphragm and moves downward, controlling the function of the abdominal organs (Lasater,... 2016). #restorativeyogateachertraining #restorativeyoga #relaxandrenew #judithhansonlasater See more
