Day 3 since my 8:00 a surgery on Tuesday morning where I had the loose and lpain-inducing screw removed from my wrist at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton. This was my second of two wrist surgeries during covid and the last 6 months. The first was July 3, 2020 where the surgeon took a bone graft from my hip to fuse to my left scaphoid, whichwas a 6 week recovery. I chose to take less than 48 hours off of work and training clients this time and REFUSED the opiate pain meds prescribed for post surgery. I have chosen a little bit of Advil and some good old fashioned nutrition and sleep to help me mend. #postsurgery #wristinjury #personaltrainer #scphoidbone

One more wrist surgery to go!! I’m booked for February 2, 2021 to get the loose screw taken out of my wrist. I have not had one day off of being in pain since February of 2020 but it hasn’t stopped me from running my business and staying in shape.
