Dog Fact Friday!!! Dog's see blue-violet, yellow-green, and shades of gray. The clolours blue and yellow are very distinct to dogs, thus the reason for the colouring of most agility equipment. Dog's have a wider feild of view compared to humans. Dogs have 245 degree vison vs. 180 for humans.

This is a video from the last set of classes. Miss Arlow was too scared to even approach the ball pit on this first night of class. Then here she is putting her front foot in! Arlows Mom did such a great job not forcing this fearful girl, but rather using treats and encouragement to let her go at her own pace! Well done little lady!

Happy Dog Fact Friday Everyone!! Did you know that a dog’s tail is an extension of its spine? It assists the dog’s hind body as a whole. The tail, however, has its own set of muscles, which makes it more flexible. Dogs' tails help them with balance. Athletic breeds use the tail as a counter-balance when running, leaping, and turning. If a dog injures or loses part of the tail in adulthood, its athletic skills will change as the animal is thrown off its normal balance. Luckily, dogs can adjust and relearn those skills over time.
