To all of our valued patients and friends, As part of the province of Alberta's continued response to the COVID-19 pandemic the health minister has instructed that all in person contact physiotherapy services be halted for the time being. There are some very specific circumstances under which patients can still be seen on an emergency basis and if you feel that your case meets the criteria of an emergency you are encouraged to call us so we can determine if you fall within th...ose guidelines. For most people however we will not be able to see you in person. The College of Physical Therapists of Alberta has encouraged us to continue contact and treatment with our patients via Tele-rehabilitation on the internet. We have already begun this process already and so far it has worked very well. We will be contacting all of our patients who have pending appointments to discuss how this will work. Hello Fit Physio Clients: We are reaching out to you to inform you that we are still open for business, and are currently carefully analysing our next steps to make sure our patients are receiving safe care. We are continuously maintaining clean spaces and practices.... If you, or any of your household members have met any of the criteria for the 14 day quarantine, we ask you to please follow the protocol, as well as call us to let us know that you cannot attend your appointments. We are happy to accommodate any changes due to recent travel or confirmed exposure to the current viral outbreak. Give us a call at 403-942-3676 **ALERT: If you are experiencing fever, cough, sore throat or any other signs of respiratory illness, or if you have been in contact with someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 please DO NOT come into the clinic as it is very important that we reduce the risk of spread of any illness, including any potential cases of COVID-19. Instead, call the clinic to reschedule your appointment and call Health Link at 811 for a health assessment.
