With the reopening of the gyms , I wanted to adresse the subject of muscle memory. Many of you have stopped completely working out (which is fine) and are really excited with the re opening of the gyms. Most of you will want to destroy every set of your workout like it’s the last workout of your life (which is completely understandable) but is it the best solution? ... It’s important to understand that your body hasn’t been active in a long time and to decide to go all ham in your workouts will create way too much mecanical stress on your muscles which can lead to bad recovery and sometimes lead to regression. That’s why on your comeback to the gym, you need to progressively lift heavier from workout to workout instead of going all in. With time, your muscles will regain their initial form and strength because of muscle memory. It’s Like riding a bicycle after 10 years... it comes back quick you just need to take your time initially. Hit me up to prepare your comeback to the gym! #fitness #personaltrainer #gym

People always ask me: How do you stay motivated all the time? The truth is, I don’t. But I still get up and get it done. ... You don’t need to be motivated every day, you just need to push yourself and do it. The key to achieving your fitness goals is consistency.
