That's it for the 2020 garlic season, folks! Garlic in the ground, and put to bed. See everyone in the spring!

Thanks everyone for a fantastic garlic season! We are sold out and closing the stand tonight. Getting ready to plant a new crop. Watch for all the same varieties next year, plus, some Purple Stripe hardneck. We'll see you at the #egfarmtofork tour, and watch out for the EG Local Food Box in 2021!

Here we go, folks, the last week of the garlic season at Five Star Garlic! We have limited numbers of beautiful Music and 4 varieties of softneck, that are all cured and ready to last the winter. The softneck braids are outstanding! This is the final week to pick up in Mount Albert. Please pm for availability and a pick up time. Thanks everyone!

Garlic scapes are available this week. Eat them fresh or freeze them for later. So many ways to enjoy!! $2 for a bundle of 10. Brown bag curbside pick-up at 47 Shannon Road, Mount Albert. Stop by for self-serve or PM ahead of pick-up.... Garlic Scape Dip 1/2 c. garlic scapes 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice sea salt and pepper to taste 1 can (19oz) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed 1/4 c. olive oil Trim the ends of the garlic scapes and chop coarsely. Mix all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.

Were back for another great garlic season! Glad we had the straw on this spring. These are hardneck Music variety, taken May 10, 2020. Scapes in June, fresh garlic in July, and seasoned, cured to last the winter ready in August.
