I understand how they feel because I have been a sufferer lower back pain for years. This is how I gain an understanding of my audience. Step one I do some keyword research. Ubersuggest I find out there are 20.000 people a month searching for relief from lower back pain. If I can provide a solution to all of them I’ll make millions but there is only one problem. Someone else is trying to answer their needs as well. I don’t know if you know this but if you search what we call a long-tail keyword phrase on Google in quotations you are looking for an exact keyword match. There are About 423,000 results available in .52 seconds. If we want our message to get out there we need to be at the top of the search results, one of maybe 10 on the first page. So how do we do that? Well, we could do some advertising on Google. We call this PPC or pay per click advertising. The cost per click on this phrase is about $3.00 a click. Now, keep in mind, these people are searching for exactly what you have to offer so you need to find out a couple of things. How many clicks does it take to make a sale, and where is your break-even point. What is the lifetime value of your customer and what is the total cost of customer acquisition? You need to spend some money to find out. You could create a marketing funnel that runs from an ad in Facebook to a landing page, define an audience, and then consider the results. Start with a $5.00 ad. You'll reach a few hundred people and judge their reaction. Then adjust your aim. I guess I’m getting a little long-winded but I think you get the idea.
