HUGE CONGRATS going out to Ella Turner, who was honoured to accept one of the Jaimie Hill & Tammy-Lynn Powers Dance Scholarships!! Jaimie and Tammy-Lynn were two dancers that lost their lives in 1990 en route to a performance in Penticton with their fellow dancers from The Artistique Performing Arts Company (APAC). Jaimie and Tammy-Lynn through their dance demonstrated the following traits: Talent, Motivation, Cooperation, Inspiration, Dedication, Determination And Spirit!... The Foundation hosted their Celebration of Dance event on their beautiful memorial stage, located at the National Music Centre in Calgary. They selected 20 dancers based on all the submissions they received who shared the same traits and qualities that both Jaimie and Tammy-Lynn did.
