In less than 24 hours, we will be back to help our clients with their physical ailments! We are instituting every precaution we can to ensure the safety of our ...clients and our staff. We want to thank everyone in Saskatoon and Saskatchewan who has been mindful of the directions given by the government and health agencies which have allowed our province to begin looking forward again. Emails have gone out to all clients who have booked into the week of May 4-8, 2020, detailing appointment protocols for the clinic. As this pandemic has caused things to change on a day to day basis, clients who are booked the following weeks will receive an update version of the protocols on the Thursday or Friday of the preceding week, ensuring we are always using the most up to date information. Basic reminders for clients with upcoming appointments: Do not enter the clinic if you have any symptoms which may be associated with COVID-19. Wait in your car if at all possible until your appointment time - Jason will be seeing clients on the half hour, Raschelle at :10 and :40 after the hour, and Kurtis at :20 and :50 after the hour to limit client interactions in the reception area.... Use the hand sanitizer provided in the foyer on entering the clinic. Wear a mask or covering for your nose/mouth. For the next few weeks, book follow ups with your therapist in their room, by phone or email to limit extra time spent in the reception area Thank you to all our clients in advance for helping us to provide a safe environment for both our staff and our clients. Based on direction from our national professional association and our provincial college, and in consultation with the other physiotherapy clinics in Saskatoon ...and area, we are announcing that as of closing today Friday, March 20, 2020, we will be temporarily shutting down. While cases of COVID-19 remain low in Saskatchewan, it's up to all of us to try and ensure it remains that way - and that means making hard decisions. This is a hard decision. We will be re-evaluating the situation on a weekly basis, and based on guidance from all levels of government and consultation with our peers, we will resume services when we all feel the time is appropriate. Current clients who have future appointments booked - we will notify via email and text message, and direct phone call as able, the status of your appointments for the following week by each Friday at the latest. In the meantime we are still here for you. Anyone, current clients or otherwise, use our emails to contact our therapists if you have any questions or need advice. The least we can do in this time is offer advice and support if you do not have access to primary care for your injuries. If you have not been to our clinic before but would like help with an issue and find you have no where to turn, contact Jason at [email protected] and he will do his best to advise you until such a time as you can receive the treatment you require.
