Flavour Acres Farm presents Farm Fresh - Free Range - Organic Fed* - Cruelty Free Eggs! Thank you for your interest in our lovely fresh eggs!... We feed our Chickens Certified Organic layer feed! *However, chickens need more than just regular feed to be both happy and healthy, so they do consume a small amount of treats such as Soldier Fly larvae and Meal-worms that are an important part of a chickens diet, but we cannot procure them with organic certification here in Canada (yet.... we are working on it). We also occasionally give them food scraps such as leafy greens, fruits, or other kitchen/table scraps that may not be certified organic. We do not use any chemicals, antibiotics, or other medications. It is our belief that happy and healthy chickens, free from neglect and cruelty, are the most important factors in our eggs. Our chickens are very well loved and receive pets, hugs, cuddles, and kisses everyday! We spend time with them and closely monitor their health and well-being. Yes, they have names, and we can often tell you which hen laid each specific egg based upon it's size and colour. We have many varieties of chicken breeds, many are heritage, unusual, or funky mixed breeds. This gives us a wide range of sizes and colours to our amazing eggs!
