Cool and fun job. We got to work on a 1959 D8. Purchased in the early 70's by Charles, Clayton and Lyle Richardson and put to work brushing and pushing dirt on various projects on the farm. Kudos to Byron and Ryan Richardson and Clayton Price for keeping this piece of history going and working. This summer the old 8 is sporting a set of rebuilt cylinders complete with re-chromed rods and since the old pup motor had given up and overhauling it was not viable, it got replaced with an electric starter. Not as cool as a pup motor but the old girl has to go to work so this keeps her functional.
