This kitchen was previously stained and client wanted kitchen to be restained a darker custom colour and clear coated. Cabinets were first stripped of old stain and new edge band installed. Peninsula was modified to accommodate a wine cooler and new counter top. Doors and crown mouldings were removed and stripped, restained and clear coated off site in our spray booth. Once cabinets were restained, cleared and crown was reinstalled, doors were installed with new handles. This kitchen turned out beautiful and looks even better in person.
These oak cabinets were sprayed West Coast Grey. The bar ledge behind the sink was removed and cabinets were added for extra storage and new counter top to be installed. New end panel was installed to account for the new cabinets. The completed pictures show how beautiful this kitchen turned out.
This mantle was sprayed Dove White lacquer. Their was six inches cut off the top of the freeze to lower the height which you will notice in the first two pictures. The trim was removed to give the mantle a more modern look. The completed pictures show how great the mantle looks now as compared to the before picture.
This wall unit was a used as a library previously. The second picture will show the middle shelf above the fireplace was removed and relocated on the right side where a shelf was missing. Oak trim and a panel was installed to accommodate the new location for a big screen TV. Everything was taped and covered, that was not being sprayed Cloud White. The back panel on the left and right sides were then painted Grey Loft. Doors were sprayed Cloud White and new hardware was installed. This wall unit has been transformed from a dark unused library into a beautiful entertainment centre. The final picture was show and the drastic transformation and how beautiful it turned out.
These natural oak cabinets were sprayed Feather Dawn OC-6 lacquer. On the right side of the kitchen where the glass doors are located, the panels on either side of the doors were filled inn. Crown moulding was installed to give the cabinets a more modern look. New hinges were installed and holes were drilled in the doors to accommodate the new handles. New counter tops, backsplash and range were installed at a later date. The before and after pictures will show how beautiful this kitchen looks now, and that refinishing is a much better option than purchasing new cabinets and at a fraction of the cost.
