February 27 Hello Everyone. It is another chilly February morning. Nice to be able to stay home, stay safe and stay warm if you can. Some news regarding bible Studies - LIMIT of 11. Greg will be leading "Challenging Lifestyles" on Tuesday evenings , starting at 7 pm on March 2. He will be following covid protocols of masks, social distancing etc. If you would like to attend call Greg at 204-687-6847. LIMIT OF 11 so call soon. . Tuesday nights were our Alpha night so it ...is a good night to have it. The meeting will be no more than an hour. A chance to get out and see some of our people and share in fellowship. Anyone who is interested give him a call as soon as possible. Also Menno will be leading "The Dust of the Rabbi" on Wednesday Afternoon, March 3rd at 1:30 - 2:30. Again Covid Protocols are followed, masks, social distancing ..LIMIT of 11. Please call Menno at 204-687-6001 if you would like to attend. A small group and an opportunity to have a bit of fellowship. Our church services remain online on our website: flinflonalliancechurch.ca . And Sunday School can be seen on Kingdom Kids. Announcements are read by one of our elders and worship songs are amazing. You can watch it at 10 am on Sundays or tune in later if more convenient. Also something NEW. Reg has set up a zoom meeting time for 9:30 on Sunday mornings for some time to "meet and greet' socially. He will send out the link for it on our church group email so watch for that Also the Wed night Prayer meetings are going well...also on zoom and again Reg sends out the link for that too. I hear that the meetings are going well and so if you wish...try it out and see what you think. Our church is giving us these opportunities to 'be together' in a new way and it is working! One more thing...if you wish to drop off an offering...Tuesday is the day that Pastor Reg is there all day..you can drop in and use the ATM machine in the Sanctuary or even a cheque if you prefer. There are envelopes right at the ATM and also a box to drop your envelopes into. Maybe a chance for a quick visit too. So that is pretty much it for today. I am hoping that this message finds you doing well and of course staying warm. Prayers are always welcome for all of us as we continue to work through these more difficult times. Good day to all. Well I hope everyone is staying safe and warm. This weather has been some of the coldest I can remember for such a long period of time. Just to update you quickly we are still having services on line which you can also watch by coming onto our website: flinflonalliancechurch.ca The announcements are read, there is a scripture reading and worship songs along with Pastor Reg's service. It feels like church because it is! We all look forward to the day w...hen we can all get back to 'normal'...probably a new normal- but it will happen when it is safe to do so. Also for the kids, watch Kingdom Kids...Sunday School online. It is right under the Sunday Service so just click on it to see it. I watch it and love it! lol Also Pastor Reg has set up zoom mtgs for Wednesday nights at 7 pm. He will put a link on our email each week for anyone who wishes to sign in, watch, listen and pray. If you just want to watch and listen that is also okay. Another way to keep in touch. You can sign on any Wednesday night and not committed to every Wed...but just when you feel the need if you wish. We do have our AGM meeting coming up March 14th and there will be more information about that later. The report is being compiled now and printing will be coming up. For our members, we will let you know when ready and how to receive it. We will inform you when it is completed. As for offerings...Tuesday is the best day to go into the church and Pastor Reg is there all day. You can leave a cheque or go onto the debit machine. There are Offering Slips available by the Debit Machine in the Sanctuary and thank you to those who are coming in. If another time works better you can call Pastor Reg to make sure he is there. That works too. And you get a chance for a quick visit with Reg. So that is pretty much it for now. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 Good Day to Everyone Just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and pray all are staying Safe and Warm. We are moving on with our online services at this time. Pastor Reg is continuing preaching his message from the Book of James in the New Testament. As always his message is inspiring and fitting for these times.... I encourage you to watch online on our web on Sundays at flinflonalliancechurch.ca. You will see one of our elders giving us any announcements, which are few at this time, but he keeps us up to date and we also have a scripture reader each week, along with Worship Songs..so we really do stay connected. I hope you are able to join us on Sundays or anytime after that you can watch it at your leisure. We are preparing now for our Annual General Meeting which is Feb 21st and the leaders are busy getting their reports in for January 22. That is all the news at this time. Once again I pray for our community, our province and our country as we continue to practice the Covid Protocols. God Bless you each and everyone.
