#findingstillness through my #taoisttaichi practice used to mean slowing, quieting, stopping the incessant chatter in my mind, body and spirit. Now I catch a sensation of something new... soft delicate light which has me imagining I can experience a new way of being. ~Barb #fungloykok #taichi #meditation #trouverlharmonie #findingharmony #meditationenmouvement #movingmeditation Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism

I’ve had Parkinson’s disease for almost 40 years. I knew after my first class that #taoisttaichi was helping me. I became stronger emotionally and then physically. Everything improved and I feel normal! Parkinson Canada #fungloykok #taoisttaichi #taichi #findingharmony #findingstillness #cultivatingbalance #movingmeditation Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism

My experience shows me that helping each other and #volunteering are gifts that open my heart and allow me to become a better person. Volunteering is part of #taoisttaichi training and it helps build my personality. ~...Christine Volunteer Canada #fungloykok #taoism #taoisme Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism

Members of the National Seniors Committee got their party hats on at their last meeting, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism #togetherapart, and with cake! We wish the Directors and all participants a very Happy 50th. Despite the lack of in person gatherings, we are finding ways to celebrate this milestone year together. A special thank you to our Directors for keeping us healthy, safe and connected! #fungloykok #TaoistTaiChi50 #50thAnniversary #seniors #taoisttaichi #findingharmony #cultivatingbalance #IVD2020 #InternationalVolunteerDay #ageingwithvitality Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism

I had surgery because of #lungcancer. The muscles, ribs and nerves were all involved and the deep #pain I experienced was indescribable. I was on the highest dose of narcotics and was considering assisted suicide. I began #taoisttaichi and, almost unbelievably, the pain went away. I got rid of all medications and I realised that I just need Taoist Tai Chi practice. Life is beautiful again! ~ Maria @canadiancancersociety #lungcancerawarenessday #taichi #taoism #fungloykok #...findingharmony #findingstillness #cultivatingbalance #meditation #movingmeditation #painreliefoptions #painrelief #caring Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism

Pain Relief: Caring for Ourselves, Caring for Others I have had #breastcancer twice, once before I began #taoisttaichi and once after. The first time I had difficulty with tightness, and range of motion. The second time my Taoist Tai Chi practice kept me supple and limber, and I felt strong, vital, alive and capable! I could accept my body. Doing Taoist Tai Chi arts is such a lovely feeling... ~ Mary... #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #taichi #taoism #fungloykok #findingharmony #findingstillness #cultivatingbalance #meditation #movingmeditation Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism
