This is the second shot taken during my journey across northern and western Ireland. Towards the end of the trip the weather just went all out on me, and presented four amazing sunrises and sunsets. In this case I was at the right spot at the right time since I had some mobile reception to check if this location had the right angle for a good composition for the sunrise. I usually scout extensively beforehand, but lately I have been so busy even the preparation for my trips can suffer. In this case however my decision making was correct. I scouted the area the day before and knew exactly where to go. The veil of mist above the lake was just icing on the cake as I saw the sun slowly rise above the rocky hills with the deer and other animals calling in the distance. It was quite the experience and one of the reasons why I was absolutely satisfied with the trip.
