The Devil Wears Prada is a deconstructed REVERSE Cinderella. Hear us out... So here we have Andy who starts out with Prince Charming (Legit. The man was a Chef. There’s no better definition of Prince Charming than a partner who cooks for you. Look it up. We don’t make the rules.) ... Andy then actively seeks out the abusive Evil Step Mother & Evil step sisters at Runway Magazine & withstands incessant humiliation until Stanley Tucci grants her a Game changer makeover through access to the coveted couture closet. She then attends a Ball in Paris, France during Fashion week but departs early for fear she’ll go Full Evil Andy & returns to her Prince Charming (whom we assume presented her with a highly nutritious Macaroni & Cheese Dinner as Kevin McAllister so properly defined it. She OF COURSE immediately gets to enjoy the Mac & cheese because neither Harry nor Marve are attempting to rob their New York one bedroom apartment.
