Oh hey fall! Some things I want to share about sustainability for those that are interested: Our East Kootenay growing season is short, and this year especially. I do not have the time or resources to run a large flower farm or greenhouse operation so to be able to provide fresh flowers for you year round I have to rely on growers in milder climates. Having said that I am committed to using BC grown flowers to support our growers. Flowers arrive in refrigerated trucks that a...re already on a scheduled delivery route bringing food and such to our region. The flowers spend one day in transit before they are put in arrangements.
