In 2017 Western University presented the graduate orthodontic department with the challenge of establishing an endowment fund. This team of Orthodontists, including Dr. Floreani were able to surpass their fundraising goal in March of 2020! This donation will help the Western Ontario Graduate Orthodontic Department be set up well into the future!

Despite the 2 week lockdown for Northern Ontario, Dentistry is deemed an essential service and all appointments for the first week of January will proceed as scheduled. We have ensured that we are meeting and exceeding the existing guidelines so you and your family are safe when you attend your orthodontic appointment. As per Public Health there are still rules to be followed when you attend your visit. ... 1) You and your family NOT travel outside of Northern Ontario, beyond Parry Sound/ North Bay in the 2 weeks leading up to your appointment 2) You are asked to reschedule if there is any illness in the house over the last 2 weeks 3) You must ensure you were NOT in contact with someone who was ill with cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 2 weeks Please contact us if you are unable to meet the above criteria and we will happily reschedule your appointment. As always we ask you wear a mask to your appointment and it is important for parents to wait in their vehicles if they are not needed in the office. Please brush before your visit, and remember to hand sanitize before and after your appointment. Thank you again for your patience with everything. We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year!

We have had to stop handing out appointment slips since we've been back, but there was no way we were canceling our Patient of the Month Draw! It has been amazing to see all of our patients again! There have been some changes with how your visits look and we wanted to put out a reminder of these things: - please wear a mask or face covering to all your appointments ... - bring eye-glasses (or sunglasses) to wear at your appointment as protective eyewear - don't forget to brush your teeth prior! We are excited to announce your local Sault Ste. Marie Orthodontic office will reopen on Monday June 8th at 8am to our regular patients. Like all dental offices across the province and the rest of Canada, our closure was part of the effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please be patient, as we will contact you over the next two weeks to reschedule your appointment. If at any time, you have orthodontic issues please call or email to connect with us. We will eith...er help you manage your concerns via phone, email, or facetime, or see you at the office in the very near future. For your appointments we do ask : 1) You have not traveled outside of the Algoma region in the x2 weeks leading up to your appointment; 2) Reschedule if there is any illness in the house over the last x2 weeks; and 3) Ensure you were NOT in contact with someone who was ill with cold or flu-like symptoms in the last x2 weeks. Should you not be able to meet the above, please contact us and we will gladly reschedule. Mandatory Requirements (as required by the provincial guidelines): 1) Bring a mask/ scarf/ or face-covering to your appointment to wear while you wait; and 2) Bring eye-glasses (sun glasses) to your appointment to wear at the time of your orthodontic adjustment You will notice several changes to the office with a reduced waiting room and plexiglass barriers. We have put in place all necessary precautions and some enhanced precuations. Unfortunately the coffee and cookies are no more, but it's still the same friendly faces that you've come to know over the years (just hiding behind masks). We may ask that you wait in your vehicle for your appointment, but please check in with the front desk first and we will let you know what to do. All the best and please remember to do your part through frequent hand washing and "physical-distancing"
