GUELPH - a great event!!! Next Repair Cafe - Saturday February 18 The next Repair Cafe will be Sat Feb 18th at Tytler Public School! We’ll have volunteers who will help to fix electrical appliances, electronics, clothing, jewelry, computers, cellphones, etc. We’ll also have a swap event organized by Bunz!... The Repair Cafe Guelph is an initiative of the Guelph Tool Library. Repair Cafes are organized roughly every two months at different locations throughout the city. Volunteer fixers help visitors repair their broken items and teach while doing it. The ultimate aim of the Guelph Repair Cafe is to help build a more sustainable community and counter the throwaway mindset. We also provide a hands on way to support the sharing economy. At the Guelph Repair Cafe, people with repair skills are valued and they are encouraged to share these skills with others. This is the third Repair Cafe that we have put on and we have seen more fixers and participants at each event. Would you like to volunteer at the Repair Cafe and help with fixing stuff?
