Please support our St. Louis students in their fundraiser! These poinsettias are the same beautiful high quality plants we sell in our store and in past years as a fundraiser with Beaver Brae. In the past 2 years some other schools and organizations have done poinsettia fundraisers through a different greenhouse. I’m hearing disappointing feedback on the quality of the plants and people are concerned and rightfully so! So please rest assured that ours are top quality and IF you have any problems with the plant you receive just contact us at the store and we will gladly replace it! I’m seeing a lot of people planning to decorate early this year and I don’t blame you!! This world needs a little extra light! The evergreens used in our Christmas arrangements can last you 2 months IF you keep it watered!! The flowers won’t last that long but they can easily be swapped out for fresh ones as needed or made with permanents (pine cones/bows etc) If you want to add the beautiful scent of evergreens to your home just give us a call! DIY kits available as well!

With the current outbreak situation in Winnipeg we kindly ask that any of our customers who have traveled to Manitoba or any other outbreak location please refrain from in store shopping and phone us for assistance! Normally it would take 4 of us 8 hours to unpack and get all the flowers into water. Normally we’d all work 10-12 hour days the 3 days preceding Mother’s Day. I’d normally have a 5th person who only does deliveries all day long for 2 and a half days. This year I only have myself ... So I’m hopeful that everyone will be very understanding and accommodating of the plan I’m putting in place. My goal is to deliver (without contact!) flower gifts to as many moms as I possibly can. By myself. Since I won’t have any help to answer the phone I will need to put a strict deadline in place. That deadline is April 30th or earlier if I sell out. This deadline also applies for birthdays/anniversaries between April 30th and May 10th. I will be too busy dealing with a massive flower order and filling/delivering orders to answer the phone after April 30th. I will be offering limited options that are more efficient to make and deliver allowing me to make and deliver to more moms! There will be limited quantities of all options. Options are... If you see advertisements like this from any .com or .ca order collecting company DO NOT order through them! They will promise delivery in ANY town/city but for that order to be filled there has to be an open flower shop in that location! Given our current circumstances that cannot be guaranteed and you’ll have a difficult time getting a refund which will not include their service fee. And your loved one won’t receive anything which is most disappointing! These companies take a good chunk of your money then give very little of it to the florist filling the order. It’s just disappointment on all sides! So...ALWAYS call flower shops directly! You’ll get better service, product and value for your money! This applies year round but especially right now when many shops may be closed!

Along with many businesses in town we are making some changes to continue to provide service in a way that maintains the health and safety of our staff and customers. We are a small team and the decision has been made to allow staff at higher risk and with children at home to take this time off. That leaves just myself.
