Happy Friday everyone, I'm in the process of re-branding, Here is my new logo and non-profit name. Feel to free to submit your own designs and ideas and let me know what you think.
Beautiful piece of art from a client. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the incredibly kind words!
Good afternoon everybody! I'm going to be changing up my hours so anyone who needs to see me can see me in the evening. So, if you've been needing to reach out but couldn't find the time, I can make arrangements to see anybody after 5 p.m. in the evening. Even if you need to see me at 7, we can make that work. Be kind, be well and stay healthy!
Our mission at Flowers of Hope remains the same. I'm here to provide grief recovery, anxiety management, or emotional first aid to anyone who needs it. These services are free for those who are unable to pay.Our mission at Flowers of Hope remains the same. Check out my latest blog post, The Mind Reader!
Sorry folks. Blog is down for some reason. Contacting Mozella support. Hopefully it will be back up shortly.
Finished up a blog piece. It's not political, but I'm hoping to have it up before Monday. It's going to be part of an entirely new blog that focuses on mental health issues. For those of you who enjoyed my political stuff back in the day, I think you'll find something to like in this new blog. I'm going to go back to writing about politics someday, just not for a while. Anyway I'll keep you all posted. Stay safe, be well and have a great weekend.... Joe

Time does not heal all wounds.
Hi everyone! Hope you all are holding on to your sanity in these very strange times. Some are loving this brief respite from the world. Others are stacking Saltines in complex domino patterns in their living rooms, muttering about plot holes in TinTin comics they read 30 years ago. As you may know, the clinic I work from is closed by order of the province. I am still available for grief recovery work through Skype, or whatever the kids say is poppin' these days. We can make ...it work. Just reach out to me at [email protected] and we can set something up! Stay healthy and be well. Cordially Joe
A survey asked Grievers to decide which comments were not helpful following a loss Here are some of the types of comments that were NOT HELPFUL:... 1 - You’ll be fine in time. 2 - I know how you feel. 3 - You shouldn’t be feeling that way still. 4 - Look on the bright side, at least they’re in a better place. 5 - Don’t feel bad, his suffering is over now. 6 - Don’t be angry with God. 7- You’re young; you can still have other children. 8- It was just a dog, cat, bird etc. We call these wounding statements. They come from a place of love, but instead of being helpful, they can cause more pain and feelings of isolation. So what should you say? Participants in the survey revealed that simple acknowledgment without advice works best. It's as simple as saying; I can’t imagine how you feel"
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, liked or supported my fundraiser! New office space is rented!
Hi everyone. Due to the overwhelming response to my outreach fundraiser, we have increased our goal for those who still wish to donate. I am grateful and absolutely humbled by the support!
Flowers of Hope Outreach fundraiser. Check out the details below!
Hey everyone! Sorry my outreach page hasn't been updated in a while. I've spent most of the last five years working with the homeless, but I am coming back to grief recovery work, as well as some consulting. Please remember I am always available, so reach out if you need help. Be well,... Joe
This is an extremely important video by Caitilin Doughty. She's a little quirky, but her message is one you need to hear. Please share this video with your friends so we can all learn to be better companions to those who are grieving.
