There are so many decisions to make for your wedding and so many things to choose from. There is no official checklist or to list because weddings are so personal and each bride & groom can choose what they incorporate and how they style their day. We at Flower Treasures are blessed to have a large, loving family so we knew we wanted to include all our nieces and cousins in our special day. As we celebrate "Our First Wedding Anniversary" and look back on the year we've had and also our wedding day with smiles and amazement, thought we would share some more photos from our day. Flower Treasures attended a workshop with Julia Rose, the most inpiriing and talented florist! Julia does creations and pieces like no other and was gracious enough to teach us a few tricks of the trade today. Here are a couple snaps of what we created today.

We had the pleasure of attending the prestigious Australia Sport Hall of Fame and were also one of the lucky few to leave with one of the stunning centre pieces. The piece made it from Melbourne back to Brisbane. Our favourite detail has to be the gold painted leaves! Check it out! A special detail for all our sporting great and our Champions. I am VERY determined to find out which Melbourne florist did all these pieces???

My girls helped make my day. They took care of me and spoiled me, they also took all the little stresses away. I love you all and am so grateful I had the most beautiful besties standing by my side as I married the man of my dreams!

We went back to the place were we said "I DO" to relive some of those magical feels. A year later we are still grateful for all the love shared on our day and we couldn't be happier with how far we have come in a year. We were delighted to hear that our Bride & Groom not only went home with their bouquet and buttonhole but they planted the succulents and have since been watching their little babies grow and flourish. Plants with a whole lot of extra meaning and symbolism! What a great idea and another reason to incorporate cute little succies into your wedding blooms!
