Life isn’t always glamorous as a photographer, but it’s worth it, especially since I have the ability to work with numerous beautiful clients and scenery! I hereby declare today as a day for relaxing. If you need me, I’ll be spending my time taking it easy without a care in the world, after my morning workout of course! How are you spending the day?

` Let's end this month on a good note & take on May with a fresh mindset! What do you do when things start looking different than you’d planned? Clean your glasses? Step away a while? There are tons of ways to do it, but I’m all about praying about it instead of stressing and worrying. When I start feeling stuck, I have a few go-to solutions. I often get into naturebeing in God's creation just brings so much clarity. But when I was struggling with direction and fountain f...or this new branch of business, I had to call in the big guns. That meant spending time in the Word & pulling scriptures to stand on. It’s amazing how prayer & time in the Word can really open your mind to possibilities you simply hadn’t seen before. I’m so thankful I have an amazing team to help me open my mind to the bigger picture when I find myself caught up in daily stresses or minute details. GUESS WHO'S BIRTHDAY IT IS!!! <3 Shhhh don't tell him I told you! :P haha Today he turns Old! haha I honestly couldn't imagine doing business without this man! Some of you may know him as Mike and many of you know him as Ritz & those from the paintball world would know him as Ritzy! He says he doesn't care, but secretly I think he prefers Ritz. haha ... If we have ever worked with you, I'm sure you have seen him in many different lights. Some days he's my 2nd shooter, some days he's my Videographer and others he is the gentleman that holds everything for everyone! haha <3 No matter what light you have seen him in, please help me in wishing him a super awesome Birthday!! <3

` Is it just me, or is a peaceful drive through the countryside or a hike in the mountains the perfect cure for clearing your mind and getting a fresh perspective? Now, I know going for a drive isn’t a cure-all solution, but it really helps to clear my thoughts. How do you get rid of your frustrations?

` Anyone else ready for a break from the noise? Between wrapping up our wedding season this year and all the behind the scenes going on, I’m finding it more crucial than ever to get quiet and remind myself why I do what I do. In these moments I like to head to my comfy bed and read a book or get my blood pumping on my bike each morning so I can clear my head for the day. In the stillness, I’m so grateful that in spite of everything going on right now, I get to do what I absolutely love! What are you grateful for today, friend?

` Do you sometimes forget to make time to acknowledge an accomplishment before moving on to pursue the next? Guilty! On the flip side, sometimes it seems the period between each big event in our lives might drag on forever! But there’s always something to celebrate! Even just an exciting idea or a glitch-free day! What can you celebrate today?

` How do you know it’s been a REALLY good day? You're probably aware by now, I’m a photographer haha, I’ve been doing it in some form or fashion since I can remember. I know it’s what I was made for because: it sets my soul on fire! There is nothing more gratifying in my line of work than seeing my couples smile and tear up when they see their images, and I can’t tell you how much that means to me.... If I lie down at night and know I’ve taken even the tiniest step toward making that happen I am sure to sleep like a baby! What kind of goodness makes your good day?
