See you at the St. Paul Farmers Market this Friday! As well as the usual assortment of pies, we’ll have Nicola potatoes, which have low glycemic value and a firm yellow flesh. They have a nice smooth shape and they’re scab resistant. We’ll also have white giant sunflowers: 20 seeds for $3. These are good, sturdy plants that grow to 6-8’ tall. They keep your bumblebees happy they love them! On September 24, we’ll host a measure-off we’ll buy back the largest white-seeded head for $30 and the largest coloured for $20. Good luck!
