2020 has been a year like no other and we truly thank those that found ways to train with us and are willing to keep the Fly Family going! The Stonebridge studio closed in October and we said farewell to Yuki as she started her new journey in Nashville. She is gone but not forgotten, and we will be sure to invite her up for visits when she can. Since October, Romi, Kaity and Anastasia have been busy looking for a new studio locationnot too big, not too small, but j...ust right. We are almost there and hope to be announcing our new location in January but that means it will be a few months to have it ready to fly! In the meantime, we are pleased to announce a temporary space to fly! We are very excited to offer classes as of January 18th! Classes will be offered to children and adults Level 1+ and will be available Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Classes will be organized as drop-in, to give as many people access to enrol as we can. Enrolment will be open 7 days before each class via the Mindbody App. There will be 5 spots open per class, if they are all full you can waitlist and if someone cancels you will automatically be enrolled. Cancellations can be done up to 24 hours before class to not loose your credit. If you cancel less than 24 hours and need us to review the situation, please contact us. Class location is at 2301 Faithfull Ave, Taekwon-Do studio, we are in the back studio. Please respect classes going on in the front studio. Due to regulations to guard against COVID, masks are to be worn at all times. Even while on the apparatus. All students will wash their hands upon arrival and use hand sanitizer throughout the class. Everyone will be given a bin for their person belongings and will warm up and stay in their personal training space. ***If you use rosin, you will be required to purchase your own (we suggest Dance Street) and bring with you to class.*** Parents or guests will not be permitted to stay in the building while the class is going on. Fly Studios YXE Stonebridge location has officially closed and we moved out one week ago! BREAKING NEWS! I am so excited for these strong, intelligent and inspiring women who will continue to lead the YXE Aerial community this coming January 2021.... Given the recent transfer of Fly Studios YXE, we would like to introduce ourselves, the new ownership Team of Fly studios Meet Anastasia! Anastasia was first introduced to aerial arts when she escaped to Las Vegas for a break from her day job. She was watching Cirque du Soleil shows by night and taking aerial instruction by day. For 3 glorious days she landed private lessons with one of the performing artists...and was hooked. With a love of the gym and a dance bac...kground previously - climbing, dropping, spinning in fabric hanging from the ceiling 20ft high - just made sense Once she was back in Saskatoon she found Fly Studios YXE (previously Move N Soar) and started with one class, which quickly became 3 to 4 classes a week! There is nothing like challenging yourself to climb higher, drop further, hold on tighter and find more moves. It is amazing what the body and mind can learn and overcome. After 4 years of being a student, she got the opportunity to share her love of this art by being a teacher...and it has really been incredible. Anastasia loves sharing the arts with other adults who get to learn to be a kid again and laugh at what enjoyment they get at climbing to the top The reason Anastasia keeps coming back is because of the fun, challenge and the people - once she is in the studio, she is always glad to be there. When she heard that the owner was closing the space - it felt like a big part of her life was changing....and that she was letting other students down, as there was no safe place for them to train. When Kaity, Romi and Anastasia decided to open a studio - it was scary but being without a studio was worse.
