Hello Parents and Caregivers: I'd like to inform you that teachers have been working really hard in calling homes to report on student progress and see how they are doing with work. Most of the calls have been either "no answered phone calls," or "out of service." Teachers are also connecting with their students by "Microsoft Teams." If you want to connect with your child/children's' teachers, I can help you connect with them. Email is a powerful communication tool and all staff are using them at the school. Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority Update: Hatchet Schools Moving to Remote Learning Effective Monday Jan. 11 As a result of the Community Lock Down at Hatchet Lake, Father Megret High School will be suspending in person instruction effective immediately. The schools will be closed to all students. All busing is cancelled until further notice. Your children’s teachers will be in contact with you on Monday January 11 to provide information about the distribution of lear...ning packages or on line learning programming depending on your children’s grade levels. We look forward to continuing our students’ learning during this lock down and to welcoming everyone back to school when the lock out is lifted.
