The Fort McMurray Giants are proud, and excited to announce the signing of local talent and @fm_oilgiants alum RHP Max Poole! Since heading south of the boarder to play D2 baseball at Mars Hill University Max has taken on a prominent role on the Lions pitching staff! We are excited to get to watch Max continue to grow into a great pitcher!! We can’t wait to see you and watch Max and the rest of the Giants take the field in 2021! #YMM Go Giants Go!!!

Meet another 2021 Giant Cameron Brewer!! Cameron will feel right at home with the Giants this summer as he is from Paradise Newfoundland! Making him the first ever Newfoundlander to play for the Giants!! Cameron is a intimidating figure on the mound with a very strong work ethic, and he is very excited to show the hometown crowd just what he can do! Another Canadian commits to the Giants Josh Berenbaum!! Josh comes to the Giants from the 2019 CCBC champions UFV! In 8 games during the CCBC playoffs Josh hit .359 with 14 hits 6 for extra bases! Josh is a exiting player that can move around the infield, and has been even working on his craft as a pitcher this fall at UFV! Coming from McMaster University playing out of the OUA where former Giant stars Alex Nolan, and Will Langford played their college baseball RHP Julian Tymochko! JUST ANNOUNCED: The Sylvan Lake Gulls will open up the 2021 season at home for a weekend set June 11-13. President Kevin Kvame and the Gulls' Aqil Samuel say lots of progress is being made on the team's new stadium and more announcements will be made soon. Who's excited?!?
