Today on the feast day of St. George we teach our youth to fight temptation through the teachings and experiences of the FNE program, to trust our Lord in all t...hings, and to embrace the sacraments of Confession and the Eucharist to keep at bay and in the end overcome the evil one. Come and join our FNE family! See more

During this time of the pandemic, many children are suffering greatly as articulated in this article. FNE offers its youth members hope, joy, brotherhood or sis...terhood, fun, excitement, laughter, a sense of normality and growth in their Catholic faith through virtual online and in-person outdoor (per pandemic restrictions) activities. We offer two ranges of program activities - Timberwolves typical ages 7.5 to 12 and Explorers ages 12.5 to 17. We offer one program for boys and another stream for girls. The group is based in the Yonge and Steeles area once regular in-person activities can resume. Contact us to learn more. See more

Something to share with your children, not all angels are the same as to why God created them.

A song to give thanks for all that we have even during this worldwide pandemic that is causing havoc, death, loss of jobs, despair among many other sufferings. It is suggested that you share this song with your children as a family unit. https://youtu.be/PYRgB26rPIs

To share with our children and for us to remember ourselves when we feel that we have come up short for our children at times as parents. "When you fail to measure up to your Christian privilege, be not discouraged for discouragement is a form of pride. The reason you are sad is because you looked to yourself and not to God; to your failings not to His love. You will shake off your faults more readily when you love God than when you criticize yourself. You have always the right to love Him in your heart even though you do not love Him in your acts. God is biased in your favour. God is more lenient than you because he is perfectly good and therefore loves you more. Be bold enough then to believe that God is on your side, even when you forget to be on His. " Quote from the great Archbishop Fulton Sheen

Answering a call from our Lord to serve him by being a leader in our FNE Explorer Movement Leaders in our FNE movement are generally not a very important man or woman as seen through society's eyes. Most of us do not have great wealth, control a large company, or occupy a position of great honour, status or power. Yet you will help mould destiny. It is within our power to become one of the most important people in our youth's lives by being an FNE leader. Every child can b...ecome a great person and thereby help change human history in positive ways that we can't even begin to fantasise. We are all about the youth that we lead and help. If we can guide them through our FNE Explorer movement and its program, we can help shape tomorrow's future leaders. We can help them not only save their soul, but they help save the souls of others. Their yes is a yes, a promise kept, being willing and able to help others and to see that their time on this earth is but just a brief moment compared to forever in the afterlife. To live for and to do the will of God, to love him with our entire being is the example that we, as FNE leaders, can and will set for FNE youth to follow. In 50 or more years from now, it will matter not what job title we held, the collection of earthly belongings, but that the world will be a better place with happier people who one day in some way follow in our footsteps. Do we not all want to hear when we stand before our Lord to be judged "Well done good and faithful servant"? A big thank you to all of today's leaders. To tomorrow's leaders to be, say yes and come on board for an adventure of a lifetime as we help our youth explore their faith and the world around them constructively and safely. TWELVE WORKS OF CHARITY OUR GUARDIAN ANGEL DOES FOR US. THE FIRST is to rebuke us for our faults. Judges 2:1 The Angel of the Lord ascends from Galgala to the p...lace of those weeping and says: I have lead you forth from the land of Egypt . . . And you have not heard my voice. THE SECOND is to absolve us from the bonds of our sins, Acts 12:7 The Angel stood by . . . and the chains fell from his hands; yet this must be understood as disposing this to happen. THE THIRD is to take away from us those things impeding our progress in goodness, which is signified in the Book of Exodus 12:12, where the Angel struck the first born of Egypt. THE FOURTH is to constrain those demons afflicting us, according the Book of Tobias, chapter 12:3: He chased the demon from my wife, says Tobias of the Archangel St. Raphael. THE FIFTH is to teach us, Daniel 9:22, Now I have entered, to teach you, and so that you might understand. THE SIXTH is to reveal secrets, Genesis 18:17, the three Angels expressed the Mystery of the Trinity and Unity, after which God said: Can I conceal from Abraham what I am about to do? THE SEVENTH is to console, Tobias 5:13 Be of a strong spirit, it is nigh, that you are to be cured by God etc.. THE EIGHTH is to comfort us on the way to God, Kings 19:7 Rise and eat, for a grand way remains for you. THE NINTH is to lead us forth on this way and to conduct us back to God, Tobias 5:15 I shall lead, and I shall lead him back etc.. THE TENTH is to cast down our enemies, Isaiah 37:36, Having entered the Angel of the Lord struck upon the camps of the Assyrians etc.. THE ELEVENTH, to mitigate our temptations, Genesis 32:24, where Jacob wrestled with the Angel, and was comforted after the match, having accepted his blessing, the nerve of his femur withered up. THE TWELFTH is to pray for us and to carry our prayers to God, Tobias 12:12 When you were praying with tears . . . I offered your prayer etc.. All of these are the effects of our guardian Angel’s care of us, on account of which we ought to be submissive and grateful both to God and the Holy Angels.
