Le Conseil de gestion financière a franchi une étape importante le 27 mars 2020 et souhaite vous partager cette bonne nouvelle ! Il y a maintenant 294 Premières Nations inscrites à lannexe de la LGFPN, parmi celles-ci, 210 ont adoptés une loi sur ladministration financière, 171 ont obtenu un certificat de rendement financier et 38 ont reçu le certificat du système de gestion financière. Le Conseil de gestion financière continue de sengager à soutenir les Premières Nations à distance à travers le Canada en ces temps de grands défis.

FMB reached a new milestone on March 27, 2020 and we would like to share this great news! There are now 294 First Nations scheduled to the First Nations Financial Management Act.Of that number, 210 have adopted a Financial Administration Law, 171 obtained a Financial Performance Certificate, and 38 have received their Financial Management System Certificate. FMB is committed to remotely supporting First Nations across Canada during these challenging times.

Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of First Nation leaders and their communities, the FNLeadingTheWay planning team (First Nations Financial Management Board, First Nations Finance Authority, The First Nations Tax Commission and the First Nations Lands Advisory Board), have unanimously agreed... to do everything we can to prevent the spread of the virus and will be postponing the national meeting scheduled for May 20th and 21st in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Further details will be released as they become available. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Au cours des dernières semaines, et en particulier ces derniers jours, les inquiétudes se sont accrues au sujet de l'impact du virus COVID-19 sur la santé publique. Par souci de la santé et de la sécurité des dirigeants des Premières Nations et de leurs communautés, l'équipe de planification de FNLeadingTheWay (Autorité financière des Premières Nations, Conseil de gestion financière des Premières Nations, Commission de la fiscalité des Premières Nations et Conseil consultatif des terres des Premières Nations) a décidé à l'unanimité de faire tout son possible pour empêcher la propagation du virus et reportera la réunion nationale prévue les 20 et 21 mai à Winnipeg, au Manitoba.
