This type of foundation helps to minimise vibrations to the adjacent buildings. The guides are designed and manufactured in-house with precision for each project.
NEW NATIONAL BANK HEAD OFFICE, MONTREAL, UNLOADING PLATFORM GEO60 Foam Concept GEO60 precut pieces were used to fill the different levels of the unloading platform and to create a light temporary structural ramp to support cement mixers. Foam Concept products are also contributing to the LEEDv4 certification of the building being built by Pomerleau.
In 2018, Foam Concept products were one of the first in the industry to receive LEED V4 certification from a third party. This certification will allow architects to receive LEED credits for their buildings.
METRO FREEZER, TORONTO, GEO10 SLAB INSULATION New industrial freezers require a lot of insulation under their structural slabs to prevent the transmission of the cold air to the ground which would result in the uprising of the slab due to frost. Foam Concept fabricated 28’’ insulation blocks for this project and NewAge Forming was able to respect the tight schedule of this project.
REM VENDÔME STATION PLATFORM Several station platforms are under construction for the new REM. Foam Concept GEOFOAM were used by CRT Construction as lightweight fill in order to reduce loads on the ground and insure the lasting quality of the platforms. (EPS Geofoam is 1% of the weight of regular backfill gravel/sand)
